We are pleased to announce that SAFE House's Summer Employee of the Quarter is Toby Saiz!
Toby is being recognized for both the quantity and the quality of work he provides to S.A.F.E. House. He prioritizes his tasks, is extremely flexible, multitasks, and always demonstrates pride in his work. His vision is to improve our facilities and make the shelter more comfortable and secure for both our residents and staff. When a task arises, Toby always finds a way to take care of it quickly and efficiently. Toby is frequently seen at S.A.F.E. House on weekends or after-hours taking care of urgent repairs - such as plumbing issues or gates that aren’t operating properly. Toby always brings his dedication, dependability, reliability and his focus on teamwork. He has been seen assisting in other departments such as the RSS area when they are shorthanded or busier than usual. Toby has saved S.A.F.E. House an untold amount of money and resources through his skills, knowledge and his community networking. He has implemented a tracking system for all his tasks to ensure that he stays on task while also staying within (or under) budget. His daily contributions clearly demonstrate his commitment to S.A.F.E. House and its Mission, Vision and Values.”
Toby will be recognized at our next Board meeting, and will be gifted a Thriftique voucher for $35. He will also receive two administrative days off.
Please join us in congratulating Toby on this well-earned recognition!
